I previously removed the rear badging and have decided to add the black M 240i back on. Could someone measure the distance from the bottom of badge to trunk edge and right side of badge to right trunk edge. I miss the good old days when I could have just gone to the dealership and measured for myself.

That's ok, I can find that, was looking into a potentially cheaper option but now that I think about it, this probably is not an expensive part.

I just replaced mine with the black. 1" up from bottom of trunk lid for the height. 1" to the left from bottom of trunk lid at the point where it begins to curve to the shape of the taillight. Line up the i of the badging at that point where the two lines intersect. VuduMonkey has a good post explaining the process.
