Common parts 335d and X5d

I have a 335d and it has been flawless. I'm thinking about getting an X5 and I'm wondering how much of my mini-parts depot (various filters, trans fluid kits. spare MAF sensor, spare guibo etc would work on both cars. What say you Hive Mind?

Realoem? Off the top of my head, there are a few items that aren't interchangeable. Engine air filter is one.

Different fuel filters

Belts, oil, oil filter, tranny fluid/filter all the same.

Great idea. I'm doing something similar, albeit an F15 X5.

I have an E70 and a E90 335d. Engine wise parts are pretty similar, so are the electronics. Chassis, suspension, trim, etc. All very different. Its one of those things, you'll have to find out what works/doesn't on a case by case basis.
