I've owned my 335 for about 7 months now. The car is A 08 E92 335xi six speed. I bought the car completely stock I've done couple mods since purchasing the car ..
Pics included.. First day picking up the car. Added A Mtech rear and front bumper My first power mods I purchased was of course jb4, with vrsf dp, vrsf 7in fmic, vrsf chargepipe with A tial bov and lastly stage 2 fuel-it. Reading online a lot of people recommend the bms e85 backend flash it made the car pull harder but it wasn't enough. So I pulled the trigger and purchased A VM single turbo kit with A precision 6466 turbo. Along with the turbo kit I also bought 550 clutch with A Mfactory smfw, bms catch can, rb pcv valve. I also got A walnut blast, rear main seal job done, spark plugs and coils. Single turbo has A great feel reminds a lot of my Evo ix the way the car throws you back. Only problem is car would go sideways from 1st gear roll. Knowing the stock wheels won't hold traction regardless of being Awd. So I bought wider and bigger wheels nothing special just some VMR V701's in 18's. Lowered the car with Bilstein's and H&R springs. I just thought I would share my experience so far owning my 335. Next set of mods I've already ordered is fuel-it's stage 3 fueling kit and getting A custom dyno tune from motiv. I'm still debating if I should get M3 rockers or M-sport. The tail lights need an update as well.. |

Lol Mojo! Yes some AWD cars come standard with LSD. Evo's comes with it. Sti's come with variations of either only front and both front and viscous rear LSD. Audi offers it too and is electronically controlled just like the LSD on the new M cars, tied with steering angle sensor, abs and etc. This will be the case with upcoming AMG 4 matic models as well as X-drive M cars.

One reaseon for me NOT going from fbo st3 turbos 335i to a e90/2/3 m3 is no torque in the m3 and crazy expensive to make power on them.

That's fair. I hadn't considered it from the perspective of an N54 owner. I guess if you're used to huge power bumps from tunes and whatnot, the N/A V8 is rather limiting compared to the turbo 6.
