Looks good. Is there any drilling or cutting necessary to install this?

I'll do you one better, not even double-sided tape is needed. 100% bolt on.

Looks like for us EU drivers, you need to cut the rubber lip spoiler to make it fit. Since the US G87s don't have this lip, can I just mount it without cutting, by just leaving the rubber lip off?

From what we've seen here - rhe rubber lip doesn't come into contact with the splitter. But it is transferred over if you use the Mishimoto skid plate.

Agree. Total "less is more" approach.

The side view photo of the ZV blue is perfect. By chance do you know the suspension upgrade on this G87? Love the front lip too.

This M2 is running the VTF Height Adjustable Spring Kit.

If they made one for the G42 I might consider it.

Is this available in Europe? Looks perfect, subtle but adds to the front end!

Any plans of making one that extends all the way across the bumper?

THIS ^^

It seems there’s no middle ground when it comes to splitters. You either get this center thing or you get the full freakin’ snow plow ones.

On my 135i I had a nice full-width CF one that was super thin and didn’t hang down. Oh, and it was like $350.

Amazing the G87 has been out this long and basically all the lips are huge and low. W T H

800 for a black piece of plastic lol. Carbon fiber I can understand but that seems steep.

Agreed. $100-150, and I'd consider it. The designs available so far are interesting in that they're either this or pretty large and hanging down low. Doesn't make a lot of sense. AutoID was supposed to have gloss black versions of the TRE (I believe) splitter & side skirts back in March, but not a peep since. Oh well.

The most subtle and nicest looking CF splitters I've seen are the Alpha N or 3D design, but they're also the most expensive options, too.

Yeah, the price is what ultimately made me say no. Their price is, like you said, a CF price - not plastic. $300-350, more realistic.

Same here, didn't want CF, and certainly not the exaggerated designs available, but at this price for plastic? Mine will stay naked for the duration.

Maxton Design has a pretty subdued front lip. It's the pro one I got.
(Ships June - it's out of stock at the moment.) It's made to be more resistant to impacts, rocks, etc... thicker than their standard front lip, and it goes all of the way across the front.

It's a matte finish, but I'm gonna wrap it in gloss PPF so it matched the rest of the pieces (can be painted, too). $270.
