Tire Pressure Light Reset
2006 330i
New to me. Head unit does not work at this time, purchased like this. Had all four tire pressure sensors replaced today. It’s my understanding that the only way to reset the warning light is by using the head unit. The guys at the tire shop said the same. I would like to get an aftermarket display. Slowly but surely. Does anyone know how to reset this light without the display? Any help would be appreciated. |

Pretty easy> flip toggle on turn indicator to get to TPMS, press BC button, then press and hold it until a check appears. The light will go off within a 1/4 mile or so of travelling. |

You would think so. The more research I do the more I’m seeing I need my iDrive system active and working to reset this particular alert. It’s not as easy as that video in my instance, unfortunately.
I’m new at this but the digging continues. Cheers. Gonna hit the dealer on Wednesday morning to see if I can get a new ccc unit or an upgrade to the cic. |

Here’s where I am with getting my tire pressure sensor reset.
When I purchased my 2006 330i the seller made me aware that the radio did not work. We figured the screen went out and replacing it would be simple. Had some guys look at it and they’ve determined that it is the radio/dvd that needs replaced. The CCC unit. $3600 new from the dealer. Very scarce online sales. Pulled the radio and shipped it to a location in Dallas for diagnosis and hopefully repair. All of this because of a light. Haha. Will update. |
