I don't understand the hate, nobody is forcing that color on you. Personally I would take a baby blue over a recycling bin blue, but I just don't buy blue cars anyway.

My gripe is the lack of color options, give me Thundernight just like on the G42.

I don't dislike ZB but I don't like it on the M2. It highlights too many of the unflattering angles and shapes on it. Namely, the ass crack on the front between the kidneys.

Really not a fan of this color. Almost looks like its not finished or primer. Toronto red and Brooklyn grey seem like the best options.

ZB might look better on the M2 Comp when it arrives with the black badging, 826M tinted bi-color wheels, etc.

Hoping for a Dravit Grey M2C.

This color reminds me of some horrible tasting liquid medication.

I love the color, but not on the M2, the body lines are more pronounced and it looks awkward. Darker colors on the new M2 look better.

Oh please BMW... use another launch color for the M2 Comp

I'm tired of the greys but if I had to choose my vote goes to Skyscraper Grey Metallic. At least it has a good amount of metallic.

Not as a launch color. One thing if it's a specialty color if someone wants to be whimsical.

But to use the same color to launch your high performance variant??

And at least the other manufacturers are offering more colors. What is with that? Really hate the limited choice of colors. Not just their 2 series but even their 3 series.

I'd say BMW has a recent history of using bold launch colors.
F87 Long Beach blue
F80/82 Yas marina
G80/G82 IOMG
G87 VB

Btw - more colors are offered on the m240i which is a better comparison to your 718

(EDIT) Eh... guess it just comes down to personal preference and I'm not a fan of the limited color choices. And yeah, personally ZB doesn't do it for me as their launch color.

And you're right there are more color choices for M240i than there are for the M2... pretty sad isn't it? Their top 2 Series and only 5 colors.

Yet you can have like 13 choices on their base 4 series.

I don't disagree at all, would be awesome to have more colors to choose from! I was just pointing out that BMW has a history of this.

Originally posted the Porsche/M2 side by side, as I thought it looked close to ZB. Most people (including myself) haven't seen it in person and thought it was cool to see something similar on a GT3. 😊
