Vowed long ago to never get a black car again, but this thread is seriously making me reconsider putting up with the extra maintenance. If I got it in any other color, I would do a lot of cosmetic mods. Black out badges, iND painted front lip, CF front inlets, CF rear diffuser just to name a few to make the car look more cohesive to my liking. But it looks so fuggin' good in black that I'd just drop it with HAS and get different wheels, done.

I like those wheels too. The BSM looks so soft and buttery in the configurator.

Thanks! I'm considering that exact setup myself. So many people have Motorsport Gold (or a Champagne Gold variant) that I've also been considering the Satin Bronze with that wheel. The Gold looks amazing though, no doubt! The Bronze might be more difficult to pull off idk.

Question for my fellow BSMers:
Do you have PPF installed? If so full or partial? Do you have a ceramic coating? I worry (too much) about micro scratches on my BSM! |

No ceramic coating currently as the salt in this climate makes them fail and I didn't want to have a partially failing ceramic coating on top of a PPF. I use Jescar Powerlock+, Colonite 845, and P&S Beadmaker layered in that order. When I move to FL I'll do Gtechniq Halo. The good thing about the Xpel PPF I have is that it's self healing. I don't end end up with microscratches at all. I can't wait to finally clean her, she's filthy! |
