No noise; no sound; no soul, no sale; no thanks.

Car manufacturers are making hideous looking SUV and crossovers and the infrastructure has a way to go to match the robust delivery and convenience of gas.

And please forget the huge digital, video game dashboards.

Someday yes but not right now, for the good of everyone, hopefully sooner than later.

Bob what do you think of the caddy EV SUV
https://www.motor1.com/news/574685/c...-electric-suv/

i think the front with that huge grill like everyone has been doing, is so well done, in your face but so elegant and detailed modern interpretation of the caddy logo.

also the chevy EV equinox

This is of course only my opinion so please don’t get offended but IMO smoothing out a few things on a SUV is like putting lipstick on a pig.

SUVs are utilitarian vehicles, people and cargo movers. Sure some look nicer than others and that’s fine but no matter what is done they still have SUV DNA that cannot be hidden.

That manufacturers are choosing to electrify SUVs first is because they sell the most. It’s hard enough to find reasonably priced gas-powered sports cars let alone electric versions. I don’t care how fast the Mustang Mach E goes, it still looks like a bastardized SUV.

Maybe I’m too old school but I want to see an electric 40-60K sports car or sport coupe that looks like a Supra, M240i, Nissan Z, Audi A5, Mustang GT, etc. Then (if the support infrastructure was robust) I would be a buyer.
