Retrofitting adaptive cruise

I prefer the 2022 iDrive 7 M240 but most of them did not come with adaptive cruise in Canada.

Has anyone tried retrofitting this? Dealer said it's not possible but wanted to get a second opinion.

Anything is possible if you throw enough money at it but I believe retrofitting it would be prohibitively expensive. Besides the cost of the front grill, radar sensor, flashing the software, most likely the wiring harness is different and that by itself along with the installation would be the largest cost.

I have a 2022 without the adaptive cruise, there are mounting holes in the front bumper already for the radar, at least that is something you won't need to worry about

I'm with Coconut on this, if you have the money it's doable. In addition to what he said, you also need the correct steering wheel controls. I am wish I had it too but likely not worth the cost and effort.

trade in , and get other one have it . Retrofitting may cost more money

My wife's car has adaptive cruise control. It makes me cuss.
