Just had turbo heat shield installed , reduced air filter housing temperature from 98 to 85 F . So far so good , i can touch air filter housing with my bare hand while engine idling , and feel it is still cool . Very easy installation . Done in 15 mins .

Bought it from Verus Engineering

Did it come with the intake muffler delete or did you buy that separately?

I bought it separately, About $35 dollar , little bit cheaper than BMS $39 , and it's black color .

Does the air box muffler delete give you decent intake sound? Comparable to an intake

it has to be removed , but it's very easy . Otherwise there is not enough room to install it .

The nuisance is I have jack-up the front right to remove the bolt from my strut brace, which goes over the top of the air box. Not a deal breaker, just a pain.

Buy I beleive m10 bolt and tap the rear. Problem solved. I tapped the rear and did nut and bolt in the front.

I have a thread on it in the suspension section. You can even replace front brace with a version that has the nuts welded on so its threaded

Looks good!!! That air box muffler makes it look like 2 air boxes!!! So ugly!!! It's really just an esthetics thing as removing it really isn't beneficial...
