That's actually a car I've come to not only appreciate, but love. The long nose and that wing are not for show, they actually made the car so aerodynamic and provided so much downforce that it was winning tons of races to the point that NASCAR had to change their rules to level the playing filed, that's how good it was. They are also highly collectable and bring in big $$$ today. Some people think these cars look ugly, I think they are sick AF.

It was a sweet car for its generation, a time before BMW offered a decent entry-level vehicle that was reasonable priced, so I don't blame you for having good taste.. 😉

Here in the US, it's not called a Honda Integra DC5 Type R but a Acura RSX Type S, which top-tier model was watered down to a oblivion; no LSD, red Brembo brakes, red suede seats, white Type R wheels, Xenon headlights and a different tuned engine from the ROW DC5-R offering.

BMW does the same de-contenting with some of their model options for US bound vehicles, in comparisons to the rest of the world but then again, I guess cars here are cheaper, with no added taxes on emission output, so I guess it's a give and take..

Came from an RSX-S as well! Had the wing on for a few weeks before I decided it wasn't for me. But man that was a great car. I can only hope the G87 brings me as much joy.

Currently have an RSX-S. The 05-06 came with a lip spoiler that was perfect vs. the Type R tall boi.

Honestly this M2 spoiler looks like a nice balance, will have to see it without the camo to judge though.

Is it 100% set in stone that the new M2 Comp will not be available in X Drive ?

I've heard for some time now it will be RWD only and I'm hoping that this changes and they offer it in X Drive.

I currently have a new M240I X Drive so if they don't make the new M2 available In X Drive it's not the end of the world but it would be nice if they did and I would jump ship straight away if they do make it an option.

Would be nice to see if someone actually knows if a X Drive variant will be offered.

Our insider says 100% RWD so you can take that how you like but that's the most concrete info we have.

The production start date is just a placeholder. They typically start production several weeks earlier than projected. That said, it could also be delayed due to the global supply shortage which is a new snag to consider.
