DSC/ABS bleed procedure in ISTA/D?

I've search high and low for the "DSC brake bleeding procedure for special cases" option in ISTA/D and finally gave up. I have a spongy pedal yet no air bubbles ever come out when doing a standard bleeding procedure so I think I have micro-bubbles in the DSC unit or secondary circuit. Where do I find the DSC bleed procedure?

You can use INPA for it..

It is under Chassis -> DSC -> Activate (F6)

I think it says DSC bleeding (not pre-bleeding)

Oh, if you use this, it will take around 2-2.5 litres of brakefluid..

Thanks, but unfortunately, while everything else works in INPA, I can't access the DSC functions because it says it detects a DSC60PP and I have no scripts for it. I've upgraded to the latest INPA, Edibas and daten files numerous times but still no success.

The proper script for your DSC variant (DSC_60PP) is DXC8_P.IPO:
Code:
ENTRY=  DXC8_P,Dynamic Stability Control E60-16 From 03/05 E60 From 09/05,
The English DXC8 Plus script version 2.00 from INPA 5.0.2 is too old and doesn't support your variant.

The German DXC8 Plus script version 5.12 from the INPA for F-Series distro does support your variant.

Thanks, I'll take a look at that thread. I didn't realize it was part of the DXC8_P script.

I did finally locate the procedure in ISTA/D. I was actually looking in the correct location (vehicle management / service function / chassis and suspension / traction control / brake bleeding for special cases) however you can only select the option if you let ISTA/D perform a vehicle test first, otherwise the "display" button is grayed out. Previously, once I entered ISTA/D, I had selected the option to identify the vehicle without conducting a vehicle test. Apparently if you don't let it do the vehicle test and identify the various control units you won't have access to the various control unit procedures. Makes sense once you think about it.
