I would, except The Office is my favorite show. I can't really think of any other show I watch on NBC though. They're lineup is kind of self-boycotting. Heroes was great for two seasons, then became the most miserable show on earth with that dumb Hayden Panettiere chick as the worst actor EVER.
I always loved Conan going back to his beginnings when I was in middle school, his humor was always more my type. THe Pimp Bot 3000, Triumph, Andy as his sidekick. |

I definitely feel like he got the shaft. And I much prefer Conan to Leno, but its not like NBC didn't step up and pay out his contract. Him and his staff are getting 45 million to split.. (~35+ for Conan and the rest for everyone else).
Plus fox/cbs/comedy central will snap him and his entourage up very soon... he'll have a new show on the air in September. |

I lmao-ed at the beginning, with the banker arriving and the corvette and such, but when they started showing best of clips I didn't even finish the episode.

Conan became a victim of a bad corporate decision by NBC....and Jay Leno became the "bad" person because of this piss poor decision back in 2004. NBC should've just let both "Tonight" and "Late Night" show as the way it was before 2009. Or just get Jay Leno to retire and he said he would. But NBC HAS to put him into prime time hours and NBC took a rating hit from 10pm-12:30am hours.

How can you consider someone who just received $35M in severance pay, fucked? Its not like conan won't find more work that pays millions per year.

it's a little more complicated than that...conan would have much rather stayed than get paid to leave. if you're a comedian following in the footsteps that johnny carson, and even jay leno, why would you want to leave? i think the burden of responsibility of this lies on leno's back. he should have just bowed out like was originally planned 6 years ago and let conan do his thing. now that this whole thing has gone down, there is no guarantee that nbc will have ratings for the tonight show anymore, and i surely won't watch leno's show.

In the long run...NBC is the biggest loser....not just in money...but also bad publicity....
Just shows how they treat their hosts....expect too much under pressure, and won't given enough time for both (Conan in "Tonight", and Jay in primetime) to build reputation and rating....7 months is NOTHING compare to what Jay and Conan had done in their respective time before 2009.....
