Bath time?

Well uhh, I'm not sure I'd do this with my G87... But um, interesting enough to share 🥴

Idiot alert.

Sand is very abrasive and accelerates corrosion.

Hell, sand is just the least of the worries. Water into the engine (I suppose getting into the interior and any other breach of the drivetrain is at risk) is first and foremost the issue I see, and salt is not that good for a car either.

Who knows if that is even for real or not.

That’s some hard packed sand. Down in FL somewhere.
You wouldn’t make it 20 yards on the beach in the Northeast in an M2. Have to air down our 4x4s to 18 psi to not get stuck.

Bedsides that, salt water will devour the undercarriage with rust. My old
STi was extremely rusted after 10 years of just driving to the beach and parking in lots that had salt water puddles

exhibit A for why I strongly prefer to buy new, can't trust people not to abuse a car for a few years then dump it for the next victim

Moron alert as well. Dummies will do anything to get attention. Not sure why anyone would be impressed with a moron driving on the beach.

Looks like a lot of fun though. If anyone would like me to try this in their car to confirm, I'm available.

Also the enemy of everything electrical, covered in fabric, paint, ...

Hopefully this was a demo not a real owner with their car.

If this turned out to be someone who simply rented the car, this guy goes from zero to hero.

This is exactly why you should put a used car up on a rack for 5 minutes before signing the papers. Lots of people have more money than brains & love to trash cars.
