Arrow N54 Dyno Chart Compilation

trying to make this as "sticky" so that people can post their dyno chart with list of mods. i am fully aware of the fact that there are similar posts like this but most of them i've came across had ugly ends with pissing war between JB and Procede.

the purpose of this specific thread is not to see which is better, faster, quicker, higher hp. simply, just post your numbers just like N54 drag time compilation thread and have people to see what to expect.

just post your numbers and mention your mods(Stock, tune, upgraded turbo, meth, nitros, race gas), type of dyno (dynojet, mustang dyno, dynapack, dd etc etc), condition of the dyno day (humidity, elevation, time etc etc), dyno done at what psi and what gear pull and or whatever you feel that is necessary.

again, lets keep the discussion at minimum and please post your dyno chart along with it. my intention here is for general public to see many dyno charts possible, not to have pissing war between tuners, so, for tuners and their dear supporters, unless you are posting your own dyno chart, please keep the bashing, discussion minumum.

~19psi
Performed 5-6 good 3rd gear pulls before the dyno runs, but Autotuning was still learning on the third run


JB3 dynos are with same bolt ons on Map 7 on Pump Gas. (15-16psi)

This graph seems very odd.

Every other N54's HP drops off after 5500rpm...yet this one climbs to a redline of ~7350?

V4 05-15-20 autotuning map running 17 lbs. of boost, 0% IC.
Fuel: Sunoco 110 oct. leaded
N2O jet: 0.32 (0.28 on run 29)
controller: Dynotune single stage controller to turn on @ 3500, off @ 6500
wheels and tires: heavy ass 19# Beyern Mesh and Nitto 555s
N2O bottle pressure: 900 on run 33, 700 on run 29
other: methanol injection 75/25 mix, twin nozzle setup with an M10 nozzle as primary and an M7 secondary nozzle to be triggered with the N2O.

Most bolt ons.

I wasn't able to change my spark plugs before the dyno runs (I had about 10,000 tuned miles on them). That's why we saw a misfire and had to stop at 6300 rpm.

Mike- Can you provide any insight to this dyno/graph?

Every other N54 dyno I've seen drops off HP at 5500rpm, whereas this one keeps climbing til '6700' rpm.
Also, it appears this engine has a rev limiter of 7350rpm.. or something that makes the graph appear to fall off at 7350 instead of 7000.

Maybe DynoDynamics just read/show rpm and power funny? Can you explain at all?

003 run DCI only 93 pump (freaky strong stock, my friend with 335i e92 full bolt ons stock tune 6spd only put down 292whp right after me)

007 run dci jb3 1.4 map 7 100 octane

005 run dci jb3 1.4 map 8 100 octane

This isn't my fastest 1/4 but it is one of the highest WHP @ 435.

JB3 2.0 - 18ohm board (7/4 Firmware) - OFF the Shelf maps (no custom tuning run today)

No Definitely Not. I will write some more clarity into the thread.

JB3 = Map 7 on Pump Gas (15-16ish psi)
PROcede = Race Gas (19psi)

These runs were pretty much back to back and we only had one small fan in front of the car. We did a few runs and then we let the car cool for 20 minutes and did a few more. It was a dynojet dyno. As he was dynoing the car, there were several times where the car kicked down from 4th to 3rd gear and ruined the run. Not really sure if that affected my runs or not, because the good, full 4th gear runs always took the 3rd or 4th pull to do properly and I assume the car had heat soak by then.

Conditions:
88F with 70% humidity
900 ft ASL

2007 335i E90 Steptronic
FBO's
CM10 100% VP M1 Meth
93 octane
JB3 15-ohm on Map 10 - straight map with defaults

Bone Stock 93 Octane was about 68 Degrees F outside, didnt feel any humidity outside. (It was an All Wheel DynoJet)


Full Mods, although JB3 was at version 1.4 map 7. (In My Signature below) 93 Octane, same temps as above, but different Dyno (Rear Wheel only DynoJet).

Dinan Stage 3 with intercooler and larger oil cooler. Also shows with stock software(dotted line).
(The people at Dinan weren't completely happy with these numbers and we are working on it. They feelit should be able to get 20% more HP)
