I wonder how it'll sound with an aftermarket downpipe.

It just dawned on me. The rear taillights do not look good on this car.

I must say that beside the horrendous taillights that rear bumper is really awkward looking, or should I say ugly?

This whole late design team from BMW managed to F#@k up almost every marvelous piece of engineering...

From my point of view, this car is awkward looking from every angle.

Appreciate your effort. It is unique and that sir is commendable. My opinion is it looks sporty, and sounds good. Looks are subjective.

🤔😐
If you watch the video you'll see that this provides a better performance. It means that the exhaust gases have a more free-flowing exit via the straight pipe versus stock which needs to travel via the backbox regardless of being open or closed.

The stock box just closes off one pipe in comfort.
Sorry I'm not seeing any "better performance" from yr video. I think your own script says gains are likely to be minimal and this rear section is more cosmetic (quad tips etc).

Granted it sounds meatier but that's solely due to removal of stock rear silencer.

Tips need to be tucked in a little more.

Never thought I would say this but the stock “tips” look better. They flow with all of the weird angles of the rear where the round tips just don’t. They actually look out of place.

Looks and sounds good! Can I just buy the tips and not the whole exhaust?

Why does an exhaust thread have to, AGAIN, turn into a whining "I don't like the design" conversation.

Epic are the individuals that spend more time in a forum for a car they don’t like. Must not be anything exciting in your old car forum.

LOL, exposure on the main page tells you something?

I was commenting about the car and nothing personal, so do you have something subject related, or want to just prove my point with another epic presumtion that seems to know what another guy has in the garage… Keep all personal comments for a different car forum please.

Yeah, nothing exciting on old 2021 & 2022 BMWs forums…😊

I believe this is the first car to have quad tips? What do you think?

P.s some of you will shout “sacrilege! No quad tips on an non-M car!!” To you I say, this car has M mirrors from factory. That ship sailed long ago …

Love the quad-tips. Did you have to remove the bumper to install? My local shop said they’d need to remove it to access one of the top clips. TIA
