Blue or Red Calipers?

Just put my order in for a M240i BG on Tacora Red with 791 black wheels and torn between the blue and red calipers - thoughts?

Tacora red interior is begging for red calipers. I also ordered Brooklyn Grey but with cognac interior, 893M bi-color wheels with high performance tires, and red calipers.

I got red because it seemed really nice in the press cars where they have the Thundernight and red calipers. If I had Alpine White, blue might be a better complement. Also I had blue brakes on my M5 so this is nice change.

Perhaps a stronger exterior color and then match the caliper to the bodycolor as your first mod?

I ordered red calipers on my Portimao Blue to go with my Tacora Red interior. I wanted a contrast on the calipers, didn't want them to match the paint on the car. Plus BMW uses the blue calipers as standard spec on pretty much all the M-Sport cars so I wanted to also have something different than the norm.

My last 3 cars have had blue, going for red this time. You can't go wrong with red!

with Brooklyn Gray, I like you would have ordered Red Calipers.. nice pop!! That said, I ordered Portimao Blue so selected blue calipers.. For me, I didn't want my vehicle to look like Christmas or a Circus. Blue on Blue looked nice on the build site plus I ordered bi-color wheels

Thanks for everyone's input! My initial thought was blue but after looking at a million pics and vids the red seems to stand out more against the black wheels and BG. The blue seems to blend in more too.

Blue with BG, but I F'ed up. Didn't see the option till after the order was placed.
Not such a big deal though for me.

I think I would have chosen red with BG.
Not such a dealbreaker for me though.

Depends heavily on the exterior color. I went Portimao Blue with Blue calipers. Blue looks classier imo.

Red looks more race oriented, which seems a bit out of place. However more subtle body colors look good with the red as an accent piece.

BGM is a more muted paint choice so I'd say red probably looks better.

I couldn't be happier in the 4 days I've had the same combo. Plus the shadowline, and black vernasco with the blue contrast. I loved it online but pictures don't do it justice. Gotta see it in person!!
