Good idea. Not sure why I thought red calipers on a red car would look good.

Allocation: 2/28/23 (Week 15 build)
Scheduled for Prod: 3/23
Production steps: flew thru 4/10
Quality Control: 4/10-4/24
Final Assembly: 4/25

Supposedly tentatively scheduled for PCD (BMW Performance Center Delivery in Greer, SC near the X series plant) the first week of June but that’s not going to happen as there aren’t many boats and I have a few
labor intensive options being Port installed.

Anyone know of available allocations at any dealers in FL? I’m doubtful of my current arrangement.

I have an order in the order bank and am at the top of the list, but CA has been radio silent for sometime now. Im nervous they’re going to come up with some excuse because I was originally the only person on the list (after the 1 allocation they were awarded last month) and now there’s 7 others behind me.

Originally they wanted $10k over but I eventually got them down to sticker. Im nervous they’re going to sell any incoming allocation to someone willing to pay more…

Yes, for some reason that’s what it shows on the front end but on the back end it comes out as Dive Planes. Go figure.

Just a heads up...I spoke to the inventory manager at my dealership. They received allocations yesterday but not with "slots" for the dealership to fill. BMW NA issued the slots internally themselves to each buyer based on the original order date entered/submitted by the dealership. He said this is hiw they used to do it but had stopped recently with the limited allocations that were being "handed out" by BMW.

This method would put a stop to dealerships withholding the allocations and trying to upsell while people sit on their lists waiting.
