Did anyone install 340i rear muffler on a 328i?

Does it matters if the backbox comes from an 340i xdrive and the 328i is rwd ?

My mechanic tried today to install the 340i backbox from a f31 xdrive to my 328i f30 rwd and the exhaust tips are a little to the right.

From my search i saw that 340i backbox has other code for the Bracket for rear silencer, on the left side.

Should i buy that bracket? will it fit?

RWD or xDrive doesn’t matter.

For a 328i you should have gotten an exhaust from a 335i.

328 and 335 share hardware and mounting locations.

Yep i know but in did not find any 335 backbox in my country )
