E91 (pre-LCI) Offsets - will these fit?
Hi,
I'm sure this type of thing has been asked many a time... but here it goes: I want to change the wheels on my e91 Msport (330d) (Pre-LCI) - I want the wheels to have a lower offset than the current MV3's - I much prefer a flusher look than these wheels currently offer and would like to change the style too rather than simply spacing. i have found a set of wheels with the following spec F 18x8" ET20 R 18x9" ET24 will these fit with sensible tyres? not really a fan of the stretched look... I'd prefer not to roll arches but i have done in the past on a 350z (18x10's all round!) any help on this would be greatly appreciated. |

i had my arches rolled anyways mate just in case and its not expensive to do so - so definitely worth while getting done IMO

yeah, think i paid around 80 to get the rears done on my 350 so not too bad..
Also, noticed that you have a coupe, is there any difference between the coupe and the wagon in terms of space available? |

according to the offset guides on the wheels and tyres section of the forum, ET30 is the minimum you can go to without an "aggressive" fitment (read: wheels that dont fit properly)
ET30 with a 255 tyre on a 9" rim will be perfect. ET24 you may need to dick about with to get them to fit also, there are fitment differences between E90, E91 and E92, as well as pre and post LCI. i believe pre-LCI E91's have the most "generous" arches, but the above spec is still the recommended minimum offset. |

As for rears, I run a 9.5 et18 on the rear of my e91, with rolled arches and some camber. Tyres are 255, so a little stretch, but all ok. Previously ran with ET15, 9.5j with a 255 tyre. Mine is a Pre-LCI and is on coilovers.
What suspensions will you be running?

Hmm ok, so seems like wouldn't/shouldn't be too much issue then - now I just have to decide whether to go for this particular set... Decisions decisions...
Suspension wise, it's just standard msport at the moment and will probably only go as far as springs due to the roads I travel on everyday not being ideal! |
