Xdrive question
This is my first AWD car so I somethings are new to me. I notice a modest sensation beneath my feet when driving at slow speeds. Not a vibration, but more like a resonance if that makes sense. I am assuming it’s the drive shaft to the front wheels. Can anyone comment on that?

Yesterday on the drive home I must have been thinking about this post. There is a very mild resonance, but only under throttle. I'd say it's more likely vibration from the exhaust (sound vibration) or the ASD, maybe the subwoofer is putting out a little vibration with exhaust sound augmentation. Just my guess though.

I don't have an m240i (yet!) but I can say I know what you're describing when in 4 wheel drive. That's obviously different than AWD, but kind of similar. I notice differences between the two modes in my truck. In 4wd there is a definite difference in the vibrations that are felt underfoot. It's probably a combination of several things that cause it. Not sure if that helps, but no, you're not imagining things... at least I don't think
