The CF tips from aliexpress are holding up pretty well at 6 months. They are dirty in these pics and still looking good.

Nicolas05 That looks really good. I’ll definitely keep this in mind when my Ali polished tips will inevitably need touching up.

Ali Express quad tips installed. Cheers to the OP and all those who shared photos that led to my decision to order.

I know, I know, I have to wash that booty but I just got back after installing the AA DP and these and wanted to share the look.

Same question as the other thread. Did you get “Black A” or “Black B”?

It seems that I bought mine from a different Ali store, after all.

https://www.aliexpress.us/item/32568...andl_shipto=US

"Black" - top row, 2nd from the left.

How are these secured please? One of the pics looks like the nut has spun down the threaded shaft so not quite getting it.
Are they just slid on and tightened? Is there a lock nut or similar?

I've seen some with clamps and I understand those lol

I have bought these too (same option c), hopefully they stay in good nick, but i still have the others to put on in case, though i think it would be a job to get them to fit as they are not off centre like these

For those who have installed the stainless steel ones, how have they held up over time?

Have a few questions:

1) How far in does the tip need to go before securing? Do you push until it stops and then secure, or you have to play with the depth and angle? Looks like there's only about 1-2" max overlap

2) Anyone have any removal & installation pics or video? Can you remove/install just by jacking one rear side at a time, or do you need to hoist?

3) Finally, re: shipping - any additional fees required upon receiving (like UPS/DHL brokerage fees)? I never used AliExpress before and not sure if I should expect additional costs

They are easy to install, you just need a little patience to get them both angled consistently. Said another way, the initial install is super easy, but then you need to adjust 1, stand back 10 feet to take a look, adjust one or both, rinse and repeat until you're happy with how they look. I'm still very happy with these after 8 months.
