G42 quad exhaust tips

Hi! Recently picked up a G42 M240i, and while I love it I feel like it could use the quad exhaust tips rather than the stock squared off tips (or whatever they are).

I found these online via some YT videos and such:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005...martRedirect=y

And I saw some people have gotten them and had success, but I wanted to know first had if anyone has had any problems? I am a bit worried about it just bolting onto the exhaust pipe. Is this a normal practice? I haven't done this before so would appreciate the advice! Likewise, if there is any other ones you have bought, I'd love to check them out. Also a bit sketched out from aliexpress but that is the least of my concerns for now lol.

Thanks in advance.

It's a pretty simple and safe mod. I can't see much going wrong except for the finish flaking over time. Some members have been proactive and replaced the fasters/clamps with stainless ones.

I got a matt black version and the finish was very poor, starting flaking almost immediately so got them stripped and coated with Cerakote, very happy with them now.

super simple install. if you know how to twist your wrist to screw something in, youll be fine.

i ceramic coated mine with some leftover gyeon rim to prevent any bullshit. has held up fantastic so far.

I got mine on. I even used a bubble level lol but still not happy with how they sit. These are the hose clamp style. With respect to the gaps around the tips and the opening in the lower bumper piece they are nearly indentical. But as I was walking towards the car the next day and one side is sort of pointing downward at an angle more than the other side. Going to have to readjust when I’m back from vacation.

No actually, they were sold on ebay, I just made sure all the measurements were about right and then crossed my fingers
