Cowl Brass Inserts & Bolts
IN STOCK AND READY TO SHIP Picking up where RobertRichy left off in this thread and using pictures from Bimmer305's thread. I am selling inserts and bolts to fix/replace the crappy plastic cowl filter bolts. Currently in stock and ready to ship. $14 shipped via USPS for 6 inserts and 6 matching bolts. No longer selling sets of 4. All sets will ship in a padded envelope. Please no PMs haggling over a dollar or two. I'm doing this as a community service, not so I can retire early. If you want a set please Paypal payment to wren57@gmail.com. Or you can send Venmo to @Lawrence-Holcomb. Please send payment as gift and include your name/address in the notes. Orders will ship within a few days of being received as I travel a lot for work. Sometimes it takes a few weeks if I have a long trip. 1- Drill the plastic thread with the adequate drill bit size (1/4") according to whichever insert you ordered. 2- Use some type of glue for plastic to make it stronger. 3- Push/hammer the insert inside the drilled hole. 4- Done. They will ship out tomorrow. Sorry for the minor delay, was traveling for work this week. I used a 1/4" drill bit, not included. If you do not have a bit you may be able to get by using a screwdriver to punch a bigger hole in the plastic. Or if you'd like I can include a bit for an additional $4.

Have a few sets left. Not sure if I'm going to re-supply or not after these are sent out.
