318d bad ground, no start.

Hello! I have a 318d and it wont start. The ground cable between chassis and the starter has been replaced without luck. BUT if i Connect jumper cables from the egr to chassismount it fires up. So my question is; WHERE can i run an alternative ground cable?

Best regards!

Anywhere you can. There should be one on the engine block and the chassis on the upper passenger side. At least on the N52, not sure about yours.

You can always double/triple up the existing points as well.
