My FL5 24 CW TYPE R

I was driving a new 23 Prius for about 6 months as a daily to keep some miles off the Quadrifoglio. I just could not do it anymore lol. Don't dismiss the Type R for being fwd.

I'm really impressed so far how buttoned down and direct it feels. Shifter is magic. I have not had a manual since my AW F80. Seats are better than the CF sparcos in the QV.

You can adjust everything from engine mapping, steering, damping, sound. Just like an ///M. The more I look at it, It has a stance like an M3 with the fender flares but they are integrated into to door like it should be! . I think it's about the same width as a G80. Here are a few pics!

Very nice, congrats! Hopefully you didn't have to pay over MSRP.

Thanks! Nope MSRP here. I had to talk to many dealers though. Most still want 5k or 10k over. 71% residuals on these!

Prius to keep miles off the Q lol wtf

Life is too short for this kind of money wasting nonsense.

Also, it's nothing like a M3

Owned an FL5 and I would never in my life compare it to an M3 lol. It’s a fine machine, but I honestly was a bit disappointed in it given some of the glowing reviews. Not sure what I was expecting, but just couldn’t get over the FWD aspect so ended up trading it in.

I'm not saying it's an M3 I have owned quite a few of them. I'm saying the dimensions and it has that stance of an M3.

A few of My ///M cars

Thanks, No plans besides ceramic coating it when I get time. Black floor mats and probably window tint.

The front end on the new M3 was so bad I never even considered it, despite it probably being the "right" choice for me..just too ugly.

Congrats on the new addition! I am having a hard time deciding between CTR & ITS as a future car to add to my collection.

Had the same delimma, like the ITS exterior styling better but Love the idea that the CTR is made in Japan and better seat too

CTR is the real deal. I race against them. They are faster around a track than a wrx sti. Nuff said.

Love the ITS. Hope they come out with a ITR with some weight stripped out. Imagine it at 3k lbs. 2800lbs? They could do 3000 curb with seats and some carbon parts.

Heck of a machine, congrats. Came down to the FL5 and the MK8 Golf R for me and I went with the Golf, but couldn’t go wrong either way. Enjoy!

How are you all finding the interior comfort, NVH, ride, etc.? Considering getting out of the GR Corolla as it is cramped for our growing toddlers.

everything is great especially for this price point. a lot of road noise though, can probably alleviate some with different tires and alignment but why would you, the stereo is actually really good so just turn it up a little and keep going.
