Also Navy fed has better rates than USAA since they are a credit union as opposed to USAA

Maybe but USAA gave me a great rate but it doesn't matter since BMW won't let me use them lol

You should re attack with you dealer as that does not seem right if you can get a lower rate somewhere else. Sound like salesman tactics to me

That’s a big red flag. Personally I would have went to the next dealer on the list but congrats and good luck 👍🏼

I don't know when the dealer officially got the allocation itself.

Build: 6MT, ZB, Black w/ Blue contrast stitching, Lighting Package, Shadowline Package, CF trim, CF roof

Making every effort not to add any port-installed options to keep cost down

You could have taken my car in TX had you not added the carbon roof lol same options until then. Dealer thinks it'll be here next week

I am not sure what the status code would be but my account says "car is at the port". 193 maybe?

Dealerships don't have to accept outside financing. If they do they make less money. Dealers are incintivised by the banks to use their lenders, and they can mark up the rate 1% by using BMW FS. I'm not saying it's right, I'm just stating the reason.

As far as the military rebate, it is stated clearly on the BMW USA website that it is $1,000 if paying with cash (or outside financing) and $500 if using BMW FS.

I just went with BMW FS. Navy fed didn't approve me at tier one. They told me my credit score was 765. BMW said the same bureau had me at 890. NFCU wouldn't tell me why I wasn't tier 1 or what their requirements are so screw them.

Yeah, BMW pretty much matched USAA so it not too bad, I would have just perfered to not have to go to different sites to pay the bills lol

I was able to get BMW down to 4.9 for 60 months but still got a better rate of 4.4 @ 72 months from navy fed. My dealer doesn’t decide my financing and will gladly take the 1k off since even more of an incentive not to go with BMW

Yeah unfortunately I didn't discover that until it was on a boat and I'm not gonna wait 6 months for another one. It's my fault for not clarifying when I told him I was gonna finance when we first talked about it.

I'm planning to keep my type R at this time unless they are willing to wait for it's title to come in. They wouldn't wait for PCD so I'm going to assume they won't wait for that either

My car flipped back to "At the port" in the BMW tracker. I am assuming this means at the port (Baltimore) and will move back to "In transit" when it's on the truck? What's the tracker say for everyone else that was on the GS?

Mine is the same. What’s weird is that the tracker is more up to date than the CA tracker….
