This is what a bad o2 sensor looks like

Car had a rough idle, lean AFR spikes, misfires, and was sputtering.

Replace my plugs and injectors, but the issue was still happening.

Ended up being the o2 sensors. Wanted to share my experience.

Hi Im On mgflasher 98 ots map and i constantly have knock also timing correction can some one check my logs? My sparks brand new Ngk

You don't have knock ?

You got a few timing corrections but it isn't too bad.

Log looks quite okay.

Went for a nice drive today
Did a quick E30 log
Shell 93 and Sheetz E85(measures E75) mixed to E32 on my Spool EAC
Right now I'm back on the stock hpfp
Sold the TU pump, DS25-250 on order as of this weekend.

Misfires

Car is on a E50 blend with a DS25, Flowmax turbo, and 50/50 chargepipe WMI 59k miles
Was stopped at a gas station and when turned the car on got a drivetrain malfunction and flashing CEL, read the codes and gave me a few misfire codes on cylinder one, car had a very obvious misfire at idle but not so much once I gave it any gas, on the drive home was able to get a datalog and looked like it was running very very lean but had no timing corrections or knock, went I got home pulled the plugs and they all looked clean and oil free, didn't notice any irregular smoke from the exhuast, and also opened up the oil cap while it was running to check for smoking which it wasn't. Changed out plugs and still have the same issues, was thinking the lean afr could have messed something up but not showing any symptoms of a blown engine, thinking something to do with injectors may be the issue, datalog of that small pull is below.

Is it possible something came loose on the inlet side like the vent return line?
Dirty MAF, maybe filter oil on it?
Just the first couple things I'd check...

Checked all hoses and connections, read the codes again and these were the exact ones, injection shut off was a new one that I started experiencing
Looked into my spark plug hole to the best of my ability and saw a little bit of black fluid on the piston along with the piston looking darker than the others but spark plug was clean
Going to check out injectors tomorrow an if I can’t find anything, time for a compression test

Yes i have knock low rpm,, and also boost pressure target 17 psi or so and car only holds 16.5 or so… The air intake pipe that connects to the turbo there is little leak i see oil residue the o ring bad can that cause this?

there is no knock shown on your logs, just very minor timing corrections, it also looks like you're not flooring it until 3,800 rpms

I'm experiencing some issues with my tune (MHD stg2+, or stage2 hpfp as they call it) The logs don't look good at all when running E40, it looks way better when i tested running on "normal" fuel (RON98)

I recently installed MHDs flexfuel sensor so these are the first runs with the sensor, what could be wrong/ should I do diffrently?

Mods & info:
MHD software + flexfuel sensor
4,5'' VRSF downpipe
TU HPFP
xHP stg3
Sparkplugs changed about 5000km ago

Aham and what you guys think about boost pressure ? Is it boost leak?

The Airfilter pipe thats goes to the turbo i have there slight oil residue , this o ring is bad can this cause boost leak?
If you check my log it cant keep the target boost

Hi!

Hopping in to tune my B58 (gen1) and before going further is there something alarming on this log? Sadly I forgot to record with lower octane map and also forgot to flash xHP map before test runs..

For now everything is stock except K&N air filter. Spark plugs (NGK) are changed recently but I have no clue how old ignition coils are. One says renew after xxx km, one says renew if misfires so is it suggested to renew them just in case? Error logs are clean. DP, charge pipe and intake pipe will be replaced later when I have time. No plans to go further than stage 2.

Here is my first custom mhd map log after upgrading the turbo (Turbo Systems Stage 2) and the hpfp.

Next week I will get a higher flowing downpipe. At the moment I have a 300 cell HJS dp and so I am limited in power output.

But for the basemap its quite good in my opinion.

Is that the stock map? The timing corrections are not looking good in my opinion. I would not get up in power. Which fuel is in it?

Ah ok, sorry, didn't see it.

As I said, in my opinion too much timing corrections.
I would try the 95oct map and see, if there are less corrections.

Hello all,
I am having some timing correction issues, and think that my fuel pump is crashing. Can someone please take a look at my data logs?

Its a gen 1 b58 with a stage 2 93 octane MHD map. (always get fuel from buc-ees)

(I have a TU pump at home waiting to be installed, is this my sign to install it?)

If it crashes you'll know due to backfiring but you're getting awfully close to crashing. Yes its time to install the tu pump.

Yup, the other day, I had a scare that it backfired and lost power. Scared me to death, but then drove like normal again. Sounds like it crashed then.

Running a nice e50 mix on MHD e40 map

Did a few pulls and so far results seem repeatable

The fuel lines Dorch sent me to fit my existing ECA we're a perfect fit 👌
