Where to buy N20 TMAP sensor?

I looked on Burger's site and ECS, but couldn't find it. I'd love to keep my money in the community, so recommendations?

I'll be running it with MHD, so I don't believe I need anything other than the sensor itself.

Might as well get the 4bar and harness from burger, if I didn't already have a 3.5 I would have gone that route.

You need the adapter to physically fit the N20 sensor with the N54 harness, yes? And that's just the harness, not the sensor. Where can I find the sensor?

21.5psi (roughly, it's like 21.656 or something) is the max the factory sensor can report.

You can get the 3.5bar tmap sensor from ecs tuning. you have to put your car as a 328i with the n20 motor though, they wont list it under a 335i with the n54 motor. here:

https://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-F30-32...ors/ES2523391/

As for the adapter to work with an n54, burgertuning.com sells those as someone here already mentioned.

Given the option between the two, I'd rather use the 3.5 bar sensor. Seems like you'd get better sensor resolution if 5 volts is only covering 51.45psi instead of 58.8.

Thanks fellas!

The 4bar range is 0.4v to 4.65v while the 3.5bar is .5v to 4.50v so the resolution is pretty similar either way.

Yeah - the N20 sensor doesn't physically fit in the stock TMAP sensor harness. I guess you could cut and splice, but that's sloppy; just spend the $30 on the adapter.

Or, given that it works with the 4bar just fine, just buy the BMS 4bar with adapter for $100. Seems like it would be cheaper anyway.

MHD supports the 3.5 and 4 bar sensor. Before you flash your map , you click on options and will see the 3.5 & 4 bar boxes. Check the box of the one you bought and then flash.

Do I need to replace both MAP sensors? The one in the CP and the one in the intake manifold? They are the same Part #, correct?

I had the same problem Buraq told me to do a force full write of your map and it worked no codes anymore (instead of the 2min flash do the full 18-30 flash)
