My wife made fun of me one day because she said I couldn't shift smoothly. When I told her it's because she doesn't like me to accelerate at a normal speed she rolled her eyes. Next red light I took off like a bat out hell, hit every shift smooth and she just said "oh".

While I seldom engage in automotive misbehavior even by myself I'm even less inclined to do so with anyone *in* the car.

Really most people find it uncomfortable due to the g-forces involved. While I know what's coming and am braced for it passengers are pretty much caught by surprise.

My wife drives my G87 once a while and she usually is the slowest car in the traffic. Last time she was overtaken by a Yaris which was driving ~33mph and I was sitting in the back row laughing.
