Low Dust Pads - ZTK Package

New here. Just picked up my M240i last weekend.

Any recommendations for low dust brake pads?

I had Centric / StopTech Posi-Quiet Ceramic pads on my GTI and I loved how little dust they created. Less bite sure, but they were more than competent for street driving.

I’d also like to know.

I think EBC yellow stuff would be good however I don’t know if they made the pad size for the ZTK brakes

I believe that these are 2 options, but I am not seeing rear pads listed for some reason.

Confirmed that both Dynamic Friction and Centric / Stop-Tech do not currently make ceramic rear pads for either of the M240i brake sizes. Only semi-metallic offered for the rears at this time.

Checking with them to see who the pad manufacturer is.

Are the rears on the standard brakes the same size as the rears on the M Sport brakes?

I thought that the EBC red stuff were less dust than the yellow?

Have done some research here and there and came across a few options. Most of these companies have pretty poor and outdated websites.

Looks like you might need to test some of these out with your fancy new wheels?

Akebono – Euro Ultra Premium Ceramic (PN: EUR1880 Front and EUR1656 Rear)
- For which size brake rotors?

Centric – Posi-Quiet Ceramic (PN: 105.18680 Front and ??? Rear) no ceramic rear option?

EBC – Redstuff (PN: DP32130C Front and DP32133C Rear)
- For which size brake rotors?

PowerStop – Z23 Evolution Sport Carbon-Fiber (Z23-1868 Front and Z23-2220 Rear)
PowerStop – Z17 Evolution Ceramic (17-1868 Front and 17-2220 Rear) hardware included?
PowerStop – Z16 Evolution Ceramic (16-1868 Front and 16-2220 Rear) hardware not included?

I'd love to find some low dust pads. After ceramic coating the car, wheels, and calipers I have been washing just the wheels in between washing the car; the car stays clean but the wheels quickly get dirty.

I’m still researching. Focusing on the above options. Car was just ceramic coated, wheels too. So this is becoming more pressing.

Need to narrow down which options have both front and rear matching pads. Some seem to just have the fronts…

I am going to try one of the Power Stop options. I'm just not sure which one is best for me (daily driver, no track use). Price is not really a consideration. Trying to figure out the main differences between these 2 options.

PERFORMANCE UPGRADE FOR YOUR DAILY-DRIVER
Z23 EVOLUTION SPORT CARBON-FIBER BRAKE PADS
For the daily driver who wants to upgrade the stopping power of their car, truck or SUV.

I've run Akebono pads on everything I've owned for many years. Great stopping very much like OE semi metallics but no dust. Highly recommend.

I installed EBC Red on the front of my 23 M2 and they were not much better than stock with regards to dust.

Last night I ordered iSweep 1500 pads for both M2 and M240i. The reviews seem pretty good. Not zero dust but seems to be a ton less than stock. I will make a write up on them but it will likely be several weeks.

Photos from EBC Red on front and stock on rear.
