It's time for a DIY. I'm trying hard to get it but I can't really figure it out yet, because I'd do it.
See, the thing with a community such as ours is to help each other, not to find things and keep them secret so you can make a huge profit out of people. The Audi crew has VAG-COM tricks shared since forever. It's time to catch up, people. If you don't want to share so you can make $300 out of poor people just to code their car, well, f*ck you, somebody else will figure it out and tell the community. (That was not directed to you at all, xxxjecxxx, but to people that will obviously recognize themselves) I've been waiting forever for a how-to, I have the software, I have the hardware... I just don't want to pay somebody selfish enough to keep useful information from a community that probably gave him much for free. It's my opinion, and everybody is entitled to my opinion. |

Sorry guys but when I tried to post a DIY for this and help people out, my posts were deleted because I was taking business away from a certain vendor.
I and a few others are fairly knowledgeable on doing this so if you sincerely want to learn and don't expect me to spoonfeed information to you, please PM me. OP: Let me know if you need help. I know how to code all the things you mentioned, and then some. |

You gave me some info and I still try to figure out the dang software, but I can't believe your DIY was deleted, because of that guy.
If you want to make a DIY I will gladly open a website just for it. The community deserves your knowledge. |

I too can code e90's and others. All the info is on another website. I turned off the gongs coded the OEM alarm to my car. Folding mirrors with the remote shut off the buld errors and led buld test on start up, you know the disco light show of you have LED's installed of stuff you can do. But be forewarned you can brick modules. So be careful and go slowly. You need about 100 bucks in startup money and a laptop. The best is when you can use the BMW DIS program for diagnostics and trouble shoot your own car.

Im not sure about pre 2011 models, but 2011 lci e92 corner delete cannot be done with coding. Ive done this on my 2011 328xi coupe. It was pretty simple. Ill be posting pictures and ill be sure to drop a link in this thread.

Is there a function to back up the vehicle before you tweak...just in case?

i would not mind paying a a small fee for your trouble to get all these features coded on my car. $170.00 dollars and up for coding is too expensive.
