I think it might be Skyscraper, no way is it BG.

Got the grills right but somehow genetically pre-disposed to ugly - what's with the front vents?

This is the second BMW that benefits from all black to mask its design. Come on!

No wonder M will be changing the fascia.

The new 2 series has grown on me. I like it actually and it looks nice in this color with the accents. They can lose the black trim on the doors (although I can appreciate the throwback to the E36 black door trim).

I think this one will really catch on unlike the G8X which still looks horrible in every trim except the non-existent shooting brake.

It's not. Everything bmw has put out besides the G30 has been awful. Everything is a departure from every other bmw that came before it. I understand moving forward but these things look like kias and mustangs now. It's a damn shame to see my favorite brand die off like this

Video available here:

https://www.bmw.com.sg/en/topics/off...021.html#the-2

Have included some screenshots. I don't mind that black accent on the bonnet as seen in the top down view. Car looks pretty nice from the side view too.

According to the configuration option only BG is available on this so I'd assume it is bg

I think it looks GREAT. And I love the gray "sticker" on the doors.

A drop and this car is sitting pretty.

Calling Stephenson an irrelevant dude who's stuck in the past, damn, you really couldn't have said a dumber sentence.

Seeing your signature I wouldn't expect you to agree.

My point is he can sit there and tear about the design and it means nothing to me. It's an irrelevant subjective opinion coming from a man in his 60s(?) who this car couldn't be less geared towards.

I like the car. However M240i is x-drive car and can not be spors car never. Same as M340i x-drive. Understeering next level, drives like Audi quattro.

BMWs all wheel drive system manages understeer very well when driven correctly and will even oversteer fairly easily. It's nowhere near Quattro in terms of understeer IMO.

The G8X design language too is way over the top, but unfortunately, I don't see better price/performance in its segment. (for now)

"Stuck in the past" is the cop out of the lazy mind that has no rebuttal. BMW's pedigree is built on their past, not on the aesthetics of the Chinese market.

I think this car will correlate with that too. This thing can be built cheaper than a Supra.
