20mm spacers possible?

2009 e92.

I got some 15mm spacers for the front and they are perfect. I tried them on the rear but they don’t sit flush enough for my liking. I’m thinking I need 20mm after measuring but the arch liner may come into contact feeling underneath.

Has anyone ran 20mm in the back and not rubbed with MV3’s on the E92?

Tyres:225/40/18 front - 255/35/18 -rear (pilot sport 3)
standard m-sport suspension and MV3 alloys. I’ve searched but everyone says something different.

20s will possibly rub on big bumps. I had my rear wheel arches rolled to accommodate them. Actually only needs rolling in a small area towards the rear of the arch. Completely invisible unless you really look under the arch.

Can also depend on the tyre brand. Some tyres of the same nominal size but different brands have more or less prominent sidewalls.

Here's a pic of mine from some while back when I had MV3s and with 20 spacers all round. I think the tyres were Goodyears. When I switched to Michelin PS4s (same size) I had to downsize to 15mm spacers to avoid rubbing (even with rolled arches). Tyres do vary...
