Downpipes install near Charlotte NC

Looking for someone who has done downpipe installs.

I don't have the time to drive to my dad's shop in Winston Salem to install them because of work and a vacation coming up in June.

07' 335i sedan. 3" macht schnell cat less downpipes

I did it on mine in the garage. But I have the 2.5 inch so they were probably a little easier to work with. I would dread doing it again but also dread paying $400+ to have someone else do it.

It is possible to do at home DIY with just jack stands but not a fun one and plan for a hole day.

I am all for helping a fellow member but that project it so time consuming.

Thanks James! They shouldn't be impossible to do in my garage. I don't have a problem doing it myself... I seriously just don't have the time right now and none in the foreseeable future either.

I have a lift to use but it's an hour away and again I can't fit it into my schedule. Work is hectic this time of year... 70+ hours a week leaves no time to tinker with it lol

Just called them... how much did they charge you?

Guy just told me $650!! Just wondering if he charged you the same?? And if so, did he at least gave you a reach around while the screwed you?!

That's preposterous!! That job calls for 2.5 hours labor... I'll install downpipes all day every day for $650 a pop!!

I know the owner of that place nice guy named Blake. Not sure they can do down pipes. Eurowise will do them. Priced around $400 I think.

Found a place off of south blvd that quoted me $200 and they'd have them done in a couple hours.

I didn't pay $650, but I paid more than $200. PM me the name of the shop on South Blvd and let me know how it works out for you.

By the way, GMP Performance quoted $800 - $1,000 for installing the downpipes.

Another big +1 for Eurowise. They didn't install my DP's on my S4, but they did remove them. Were honest and upfront about the pricing and time beforehand, ended up being even cheaper than quoted.

Lol @ James...

Bro, if people are actually paying $650 to $1000 for installing downpipes I'm in the wrong line of work!

Eurowise quoted $400, but that's still insane to pay that much when the job calls for 2.5 hours labor. That's $160/hr labor! Stealer ships don't charge that much! Lol

I never paid $650 for downpipe install, I did them myself... but I do trust Eurowise to do work over any dealership. Last time I went to the dealership (for a free recall) the next day my dash lite up like a Christmas tree. I will never go to the dealership again.

$200 is well worth it. To get the pipes lined up correctly it's a job that could take 1.5 hours or it could take 4 hours just depends on your luck.
