I haven’t been able to find anything else corroborating that date so I have a feeling it’s just rumors being passed around by the same guy. If multiple folks can’t confirm that date with their SAs I have a feeling its too good to be true.

Hey all. For info, I collected without issue today (UK Car). MY23 car with reversing cam, no issues so far but one day isn't a fair test.

I hope all those stuck with the stop sale have the issue sorted ASAP!

Were UK customers ever notified of a stop sale? I thought it was only a US requirement but I could be very wrong! Hope you’re enjoying it! So jealous!!

No notification, but it was mentioned earlier in the thread it was worldwide (or thought to have been). Assume I'll get a recall for a software update at some point, unless they can resolve it using an over the air update.

I just texted my CA about the stop sale being lifted. He confirmed that Yes it was lifted today - but he needs notice from EOD (not sure what this is) on which cars are good for delivery. Overall good news!

Edit: This is in Canada BTW collection was for Sept 27. Now looking like October 7th

So my sales associate confirmed I was affected and my stop sale wasn’t lifted. So not all cars will be cleared it seems.

If what people on the M3 forums are saying is true, not all cars built during that period were actually affected so some might still be getting through after they are tested. Take all of this with a grain of salt though.

Curious if the Parking Assistant package with SurroundView might have something to do with it?

I'm sure different software will be needed for vehicles with/without the package. Can those with the stop sale lifted confirm if you have this package or not?

I've done PCD before so I know how great it is. Also, I haven't even been scheduled and from what my dealer told me, they won't even schedule me until this is all resolved so I will be driving it home whenever that is.

Ahhh Nice! I was able to do my first one last Friday. Makes sense they would stop scheduling people who are involved with the stop sale as to not pile up cars. Mine is still sitting in there parking lot.

Yeah I check a bunch of those sites earlier and they said no open recalls or anything but sales associate confirmed it’s still on stop.
