Closely followed by mid-pipes done by an exhaust specialist (x-pipe) is all it needs

I mentioned the tune above but its not for all. To be done right (femto unlock and tuned ecu), it may be out of the wheelhouse of most to be the best bang for the buck due to the actual cost. My stage 2 tune with exhaust, femto unlock, DME tune, downpipes, oil cooler, heat exchanger, trans cooler intake/filter, colder plugs with labor for all...I am over $15k usd. Yes, its A LOT of bang but also A LOT of buck.

Flat tire repair kit that doesn't involve filling your wheel with tire goop.

I wasn’t planning on getting the grills to protect the radiators, but with only 400 miles in, I already see several nicks/dents in the radiators. Ordered the zunsport grills which is 3-4 weeks out. Ppf’d the front end along with tint during the first week.

I don't even have my car yet and I've ordered the mishimoto skid plate (oil cooler guard) and mud flaps (saved the supra from nice rock hits since those rear wheel arches hang out so far). I also have a quote in hand from the people that did my PPF/tint on the supra so that'll be ready to go as soon as I get the car.

Over the winter I'll do intake (induction noise!), wheels, and some CF bits. Nothing crazy for now...maybe the AA EL mid pipe (had their catted DP on the supra and its great, fantastic in combo with the JB4 for those who don't want to go full unlock). I don't think I'll need more power for a bit so these are mostly just fun looking/sounding improvements.
We'll see once I get it out on the track next spring

The modification that I have chosen for my car makes it amongst the rarest. The styling package is called “Unberührt”. This is a bespoke package that acknowledges all of the detailed design and engineering elements created by the talented engineers at BMW, then retains the car in its completely stock form 😂

I already have HAS port installed, so maybe I already did my first mod? Tint will come asap.

PPF might be a spring thing, maybe stealth? Will use a hybrid spray wax until then.

I will run through tires before probably moving to a square setup, hopefully 2025ish and keeping stock wheels for winter. I was heavily considering spacers as a first mod. That or spoiler or splitter.

Engine power/noise mods will wait until after wheels.
Can't stress prioritizing the ppf before any other mod after delivery. Protect your car before the rock chips etc happen. Straight from dealership to ppf shop if possible.

Saw one traded in last time I was there after a month of ownership and it was already peppered in the front due to no ppf.

I can’t attest to this. Caught a significant rock chip that has delayed my front bumper ppf while I get the paint fixed tomorrow for a pretty penny. Wish I went to ppf right away.

How much is the HAS kit?

I think it was right around 2900 or 2950 but it rolls into your financing if you get it port installed.

2850 installed and aligned but considered oem as part of your build and warrantied as such by BMW. Port specs will be 10mm drop, but you can drop more later and realign.

I really regret not getting the port installed HAS as the car needs to be lowered.

I've done some searching on the HAS kit on what the process is for adjustments after the port install and I can't find the details. What makes them adjustable and what is that process?

The kit comes with an adjustment tool you can use to adjust as needed.

Unless you are doing things that should be PPF'd as well. Like I was considering the CF grill and lower "mouth" thing and I'd want them PPF'd too

It is height adjustable. Car comes with an adjustment tool. Just take to a performance shop familiar with KW HAS and the can make the adjustments.

True but some things can also get ppf added later. Example when I do front splitter and side skirts they will get ppf at that time.

You're def in the minority there with a tune being the first mod. If you're spending $76K+ on a car, the last thing I want to do throw the warranty away. I can't imagine spending money on a tune and then something going wrong and being out potentially thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars even before my first payment. That would be a tough pill to swallow for sure.
Now after the warranty period ends, then shit, go balls to the wall.

I have lass than 3k miles and my eco has been sent to femto. No, I am not concerned. If its something BMW won't cover, the Carbahn warranty I am getting will.

You would really be shocked at the number of people who have their new cars tuned within a couple thousand miles of purchase.

I may do this eventually, but def not my first mod. I need to get used to a high hp RWD car before I turn it up.

I do follow all these high power builds closely though! Really cool how much people are able to get out of the S58.

I respect people's decisions, either way. Its obviously not for everyone.

Port installed HAS and air inlets were my first...I did do some mods within the first 1500 miles: paint correction, ppf, ceramic coated, rims and tires, tint, rear spoiler black badge and exhaust.
