New Delivery

Hi all,

Been a minute, but took delivery of my new M2 a few weeks ago. ZB over Cognac, 6-speed. So far pretty great. Mostly driving around Manhattan and back and forth to work in Westchester. Got to open it up a little so far, just hitting 1k miles now. The handling I feel is awesome. Included some pics. Order was long as I've posted on those threads. Production was completed May 30th, sat in Mexico and finally delivered in October. And of course, having my first kid in February, so not sure how long I plan to keep. But fun for now and just ordered the winter tires.
The ZB is very cool. Subdued, but totally changes in sunlight and at night.

Congrats on the car and impending family addition! I just placed an order for ZB with Cognac 6mt. My CA tried to talk me out of the color combo, but I love the look ( and really was not a fan of the other interior options)!

I have the same ZB over cognac as well. Got a lot of people complimenting the ZB color. I really like it, so did my kids and wife.
Only thing is definitely look racy on the road. Already got an idiot in a riced up WRX cutting me off and then row down his window waving at me to race.
I had my 5 yr old in my backseat and car not breaking in yet at 250 mile. Also regular road isn't the place to race.
Guess I have to get used to that kind of stupid aggression.

Thanks all. I always prefer non black interiors but it still has to be the right color brown/tan or reds. So very happy with the cognac and it even goes with all the exterior choices too.
I do get a LOT of looks around the city (Manhattan). People crossing, etc. even came back to my car one time and a guy taking a full on video of it. Lol.
Also cause theres still not many around, hence the boat issues. Hang in there Vinknee but it is annoying. I missed the whole summer. My M2 will mostly be driven on winters as I decide what to do with it in the early Spring.

Very choice ! No CF roof ? Did you spec it or off the dealer lot

Either way gorgeous combo. Would love to see Cognac buckets

I spec'd it. wanted the sunroof. (If CF roof was free, then probably woulda got that).

Looks we have an almost identical spec (minus the shadowline)! I’m super glad I went with this combo, it’s so beautiful and plays well with each other, thanks for sharing the pics!

Still waiting on mine, but hopefully soon 🤞🏾
