Why change so many parts on your first track day before experienceing the baseline. How will you ever know what really helped you without a baseline?

Well that was my first track day with the M2 not my first track day. Baseline for me is tires, wheels, camber, and track pads because I am doing that at a minimum. Your preference may vary.
As of now I have over a dozen track days in the M2 and have been through 4 different track pads, I am on 305 tires, modded the exhaust, mild aero, and put 3way coilovers on. I just finished have all suspension arms switched out for SPL. I'll be taking it to COTA again in a few weeks to see the incremental improvement from the SPL.

What SPL parts did you switch out? Just got the Toe Rod Ends to deal with bump steer issues and front sway bar end-links.

What pads you running now? I have the Pagid yellow. They are good but after tracking Ferodo 3.12 on the F87 I wouldn't mind those for the car. Options seem limited.

I have Cobalt XR1 on right now but I haven't had them on the track yet. That will be tomorrow.
I just took off Pagids. They were OK and were predictable but did not have the bite that I like. I have also run Gloc R12 and R16. Both of those are great but I only get 2-4 track days out of them depending on the track.
Also I went full SPL. I will report back on improvements.
