E91/90 LCI Seat Heat Questions
Sort of an oddly specific question I haven't been able to find an answer for... do all of the powered sports seats fitted to LCI E91/90s have the heating elements in them, or do powered non-heat sports seats exist?
I'm looking at an E91 without CWP but with ZSP and Xenons, but nothing else (for some reason it was optioned that way, I didn't even know you could get Xenons without the washers until right now). So it has powered sport seats... but doesn't seem to have the seat heat buttons. Is the retrofit going to involve replacing the seats (or tearing them down to add the heaters), or will it be a simple "add the buttons, run some wires, and add a fuse" sort of deal? I can't find a definite answer anywhere. Its a 2011 if relevant. |

Probably the easiest way to know for sure would be to look for a plug that isn’t plugged in on the seat bottom, if so there’s a good chance the heating elements are there. If not, then they were made correctly without the elements.
