I suppose the obvious answer is the roof, but I'm not willing to risk losing £140 if it decides to go missing.

I believe the G42 has an athermic windscreen so when I mount it close to the front of the car I tend to get a lots of 'invalid' or 'low sats' messages.

The best option I believe is the centre of rear parcel shelf about 6-9 inches from the back. I get excellent results here.

I notice that my DRG70 can pick up 32 sats on a good day while my old DRG 69 only connected to a maximum of 12.


Anyone one else know of any better positions to try (for Dragy not sex)
