I am posting this here since these are advertised as track-day brake pads. I read some good reviews and I decided to buy them. Well, I highly recommend that you do not use these pads. I got 2 and half track days out of them. When I say 2 and half days it is because half way through my 3rd track day I had brake pad fade coming down a straight at ~110mph. Brake pad fade occurs with little warning. I stopped for the day and went home. These pads were shot.

Luckily Vorshlag was able to get me some G-Loc R12 compound in time for my next track day. They were much more predictable on the track yesterday. I got 7 track days out of G-Loc on my last car I will report back how they last on the M2.

Good to hear you have had success so far with the G-Loc R12. I have used them with much success on a much lighter car (miata) so I am curious to hear how they held up to heavy car like the M2.

My previous car was a Mustang - so a pretty heavy car. I think that the R-12's will be good in the M2

The guys at G-Loc are really good. I tried R16 on my FRS (aero, Hoosier R7) NASA ST5 race car. I like the modulation and the friction felt just right. In the past I was running Hawk DTC for years and this is a step up (with the release characteristic) and does not upset the car with sudden "off" (weight transfer). This was on C43 Stoptech kit.

Wear has been great so far. Running R12 in the rear.

Kudos to Danny Puskar.

I'd like to track the M2 sometime, will keep an eye out here to see what worked for you all.

Cheers,

Lutfy

I ran R16 on a previous car but felt it took a lot of heat to get them to have good bite. They were a bit scary to drive on the freeway heading to the track.
