I installed mine about two months ago. All the haze went away after about a week. Looks very clear. Only complaint (which I knew buying) is that there is a bit of glare with the gloss finish when in sunlight. Not a deal breaker (and to be expected) but noticeable when using the cameras for example. Overall I am very satisfied with the product

I kind of like the glass option. Have any other options come out? I'm thinking I want to do this since I prefer using the screen over the knob, just easier for me since I've never been an idrive user.

It can reduce fingerprints.
I have xpel ppf on my gloss black centre console and phone charger / cup holder cubby. It doesn’t get fingerprints like the unprotected plastic.

Yes i get the gloss black but i made sure i never specced the piano black ,way too scratchy lol.
