I'm cancelling my M2 order if someone wants it
Hey guys,
So i originally had an order in for an M2. ill list the specs down at the bottom. Car is still waiting to be produced due to me speccing bucket seats but i have chosen not to buy the car as i managed to snag a Boxster GTS allocation. Chances are the dealership will keep the order in as it's a pretty nice spec but if anyone is interested in taking it over i'd recommend giving them a call. The sales associate i was working with was Winnie Chen. While i dont think i can actually transfer it to anyone as the dealership didnt require a down deposit from me, i assume they would be willing to sell it to someone who inquires about it. As far as pricing goes, i was able to negotiate 500$ under MSRP for this sale. I was offered MSRP because i had bought an F87 M2 Comp from them a few years ago and then they price matched Stevens Creek BMW for 500 under. If you are local you might be able to snag at least MSRP, last i heard for everyone else they were charging 5k markup. Dealership is BMW of Fremont Specs: Black Sapphire Metallic ZF8 Auto Carbon Package (with carbon buckets) Lighting Package Shadowline Package Live Cockpit Pro Wireless Charging Port Installed Options i added: MP Alcantara Steering wheel MP HAS kit Last edited by xxyion; 03-08-2024 at 10:51 AM.. |

California is a very different market compared to the rest of the US. Remember we dont have seasons over here so many people will drive their sports cars year round without needing to change tires. Due to that we naturally have more demand, not to mention we're just so incredibly packed full of people here with more money than they know what to do with. Which means a lot of those people will pay markup just so they dont have to wait for a car. While its softening for sure, many other states were MSRP only way before CA was.

MY 2025 G87 M2 (Aug 2024) gets a +20 hp power bump:
https://g87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=2053111 Yet another reason not to pay over sticker for a current G87 M2.

Chances are this car will be a 2025. It hasn't even started production yet and based on what they tell me, it'll be delayed quite a bit due to the carbon buckets.
