I don't want to spend your money, but... if you got the side skirts, holy smokes, bad ASS! Lip looks FAN-tastic, man!

Looks great! I was having the same dilema and bought a POS lip from amazon in the meantime.

Hey Fellas,

I am on the waitlist for a 2025 MY G87. While I wait I have been thinking about getting aftermarket trim for my car. I have been forcused mainly on CF trim from R44 and AutoID amonst other companies. I was stinking with the carbon stuff because I wanted to get the carbon fiber inlets but seeing the price of the Maxton trim it is hard to ignore. Do the trim pieces (from lip and side skirts specifically) come with the self tappers? Do they use the car’s mounting points? I know for R44 and AutoID for example, their front splitters use the car’s mounting point and provide self tappers for additional security.

Any info you guys could provide would be appreciated. FYI…I was going to go with Alpine white so getting these black piece would work nice together.

Hey Ronin,
My lip did not come with the self tappers, I just picked them up at Home Depot. Also, the lip does not use the factory mount positions. So I aligned it by hand and held it in place wirh 3m tape, then slowly adddd the screws. It really wasn’t bad at all. The fit of the lip is good enough to make alignment pretty easy luckily.

Hey, thanks for the reply I appreciate it. I should have also asked if the pieces also had pre drilled holes so we would know where to acrew in the self tappers. I am assuming no but figured I ask. Did everyone just get front lips and no sode skirts? I am going to read through this thread tonight.
I have never installed any of these pieces before. Would you recommend I take it to a shop to get it installed so I don’t F it up lol?

No predrilled hole locations unfortunately. Honestly the install seemed way more daunting in my head, but afterwards, you realize there really isn’t much to it. Just space the screws out and take your time so you don’t overtighten them and you’ll be fine. That said, if you’re not comfortable doing the install, then just take out to a shop. But I promise it really is very easy!
