just go a call from my CA with the good news that my status has finally switched from 047 to 112 with ( surprise) an August week 34 allocation( as I was expecting a Sept. allocation at this point) ! and he also said my production number also changed.
so tooly our cars might be delivered with the same ship in late Sept. or very early Oct. if these August production dates holds for us ...
finally the wait has become better since I was waiting since the month of April for at least a potential production week :|
good luck for others waiting with the allocations to be assigned these first weeks of the month as usual!

Was at Scheduled for Production since Ive gotten the production # but now it says order received.

I too made a change recently from Thundernight to Black Sapphire Otherwise the it is a full specced car with all the options ticked.

I had a Week 31 production date but given the fact that the people with July dates didn't really start production until this week, I figured mine would be pushed back. And it was in fact pushed back to Week 36...but I've stayed at 112 the whole time.

yes, changing your original configurations have a probability to delay your production week . hopefully the second delayed date holds and this time wont get delayed again , fingers crossed!

They are definitely behind so it might not be because of the changes. I think they just updated everyone this week.

I just found out that I received an allocation and production number.

Decided to call my CA today and found out that there was a mix up. Essentially, the allocation was initially given to someone below me on the waiting list. Fixed now and that is what matters.

I had a August production pushed back and didn’t make any changes. It went from Scheduled to Order Received. As of last night it’s back to being scheduled. Almost scared to call and see how many weeks later it is scheduled, it was supposed to start this week.

Production was originally scheduled week 38 when I got the allocation. Just got upgraded to 112… now scheduled for week 37 production!

Unrelated- does anyone else have an impossible time navigating the ‘genius’ system. The automated voice system operates like it was made in 1999. I said “production status” and it asked to confirm if I said “it”. When I tried to respond “no” it didn’t recognize that either. What’s the magic formula for getting through to an agent ASAP?

That's crazy! Does BMWNA give any estimate on when or how many allocations should be released?

I'm guessing they're still backed up from all the hold ups earlier this year, and the 2022MY orders that were flipped to 23 since they are just beginning production. Hopefully the chip and parts shortage is no longer a massive issue.

No info whatsoever which can be frustrating because that makes it tough to provide a potential customer with a time frame.

I do see that there are still plenty of '22's that have yet to arrive to dealers. One '22 is even still in production. My guess is once the last of these are completed, they'll move on to the '23's.
