The max speed I saw it get up to is 15.4 knots which is about 17 mph, rough estimate puts the distance from the Baltimore port to NJ port at about 320 miles using the marinetraffic map and my knuckle to judge distance. This puts the average trip time from Baltimore to NJ at about 19 hours or so (18.82) at a consistent 15ish knots. Now I have no idea how marine traffic laws work or what speeds the boats are actually going so this is just a very very rough estimate. So if it left right now (2:21pm est), it would probably arrive sometime around 9:30am-9:45am or so.

Nice calculations! 🤣 I was watching the speed for a bit,but I was too lazy to do the math. If they arrive in NJ Saturday or even Sunday. Then maybe our cars can be picked up Mon/tues by the transport company! 🤞🏻

Final destination for me is NJ and BMW Genius also told me 7/18/22 is the expected port arrival date. I just signed up for a free trial with FleetMon to track it over the next 10 days. I'm really, really hoping that it will get to the dealership and be ready to pick up before the end of the month!

To answer my own question. My car got off the RCC Amsterdam on the 5th and, according to BMW Genius, will depart for the dealership on the 10th and arrive on the 11th!

Alright guys, vesselfinder officially just updated RCC Amsterdam's status to en route to Port NY! ETA tomorrow July 9th, 13:00 (not sure if that's UTC or EDT). One step closer!!

It is currently 40ish miles from the NYC port. I spoke to a friend of mine who owns a trucking company and he told me that the carriers from that port tend to be pretty direct to their destinations so there shouldn't be too much of a wait time from when it gets on the truck to when it arrives at your guys' respective dealerships. For those of you in Upstate NY, it's about 5 1/2 hours from the port to this general area. He told me I should hope to have my car early next week! I feel like I can finally get excited for this car lol

Stuck in "Entering Assembly line" for over a week now. Production date still listed as 6/29.

Dealer ordered wrong colored calipers, can't be bothered to see if they can fix it when it comes in. Sales manager won't return voicemail. This has really been a "fun" experience.

Ouch, sorry to hear. If my car showed up with red calipers I would flip out.

In other news, Glovis Spirit has departed from Mobile. It looks like it's headed to Freeport (TX?), then hopefully it comes up to NY.

If I looked at the schedule correctly I think it has stops in Georgia and Philadelphia before heading to NY/NJ. My CA has been in touch with me at this last leg giving me updates and also adjusting price for any deletions. Hopefully in 2 weeks we'll have our cars!!! In total it's going to be around 5 1/2 months for me.

Doesn't sound long but it sure felt it!!

For me it was the opposite. Thundernight with the red is what I wanted, getting blue. After I pointed it out to my CA (it was already in 150) she came up with some BS about "BMW is substituting parts to get them through assembly".....uhhh that's not how it works...she then says, "not sure what we can do, but blue will look good!" .....I know it's not a huge deal but I'm spending almost 60k, I get pissed off when cooks fuck up my order on a 35$ steak.....

Oh well, hopefully when it comes I forget all about it.

It seems as though the VDC only operates Mon-Fri unless there is a backlog of vehicles, so even if they get unloaded today they most likely won't be processed until Monday

Looking at pictures of the VDC from like 2018 versus the current satellite images from google it looks like they have far fewer cars there than they used to so hopefully they'll fly though the quality check
