Anyone in the Western MA area who could help me fit some side skirts?
Hey everyone, I recently bought some pre-painted M3 style side skirts and tried to install them this weekend. Supposedly the seller has sold plenty without an issue and I've always heard good things about fitment, but I couldn't get them on for the life of me.
I popped my OEM skirt off without a problem, and then tried to just fit the new one in place without the tabs or pegs just to make sure it lined up before I handed it over to my detailer, but I couldn't get it to fit at all. I had zero problem fitting the old one (pegs and clips and all) back into place. That leads me to believe that it's the skirts that are the problem, but I don't have any prior experience with this type of thing so for all I know there's something obvious I'm missing. Is there anyone in the area (Springfield/Northampton) who would be willing to take a look and lend a hand? Thanks!

Bumping this - any recommendations for a shop that could help and wouldn't charge a fortune? I can get the skirts off and bring the car there with them off - it would literally be a five minute job at most for the shop to try to fit the skirts on, but I can't think of anywhere that does BMW body work.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, Waltham's a couple hours away from me - I'm way out near the Springfield area.

For the price some of these places are gonna charge, you could honestly just buy a new set off of U m n i t z a for $200. I went down that road, and my skirts fit flawlessly. If you dont wanna drop a lot of cash for man hours id suggest those skirts

The actual install is cake once they fit - I can't work on cars to save my life and I can get the OEM one off and back on in all of ten minutes.

I might be able to help out, I don't have a heat gun but installed skirts before and just had to fix mine due to some broken / missing tabs ect.
