E series MHD wireless adapter question

Hey guys,

I have a E series MHD wireless adapter (the orange one). Would i be able to use it on a E70 X5M to read fault codes? I am going to check one out this weekend.

thanks

It could possibly still work. That chassis list assumes youre trying to flash tune the car using MHD. But the adapter itself still works as a wifi dongle for other apps like protools. In those cases, you can still use it for diagnostic scans so it might still work on the e70m

Wouldn't hurt to try.

You can also buy or rent a generic code scanner, although those won't read BMW specific codes.
