E93 auto trans hangs revs when shifting?
Hey guys, got a 2011 335i E93 with the auto trans - 116K miles.
I’ve noticed recently under low load that the auto trans seems to be slipping occasionally. When it shifts the RPM will go up about 100 RPM and then select the next gear. It only does this under low load / low RPM. In manual mode it shifts immediately and normal. Any idea why this would be happening? Could it need a transmission fluid change? Thanks |

Mine will sometimes do the exact thing, during low speeds it will slip 100-200RPM then kinda clunk into the next gear. Its rare but definitely happens sometimes.
Started at 90k and still happens sometimes at 115k. |

Full transmission service (pan, solenoids fluid) make it shift butter smooth and it's been perfect ever since.
